Play Is How We Participate - Playeum's International Day of Play 2026 Campaign

Play is how children participate. Through play, children make visible their ideas, feelings, hopes, and perspectives on the world around them.

When we create opportunities for play, we create opportunities to listen.

This International Day of Play, we invited 23 children to share the change they want to help create in Singapore and beyond. Through LEGO Build the Change, they expressed their hopes for a better future.

Their ideas reminded us that children are not just beneficiaries of change. They can be active contributors to it.

Take a moment to listen to what they have to say.

How might we create change not just for children, but WITH them?

This video was built with imagination, supported by the LEGO Group, and crafted together with our friends at The Black Sampan. We are deeply grateful to all the children, playmakers, and volunteers who shared their time, creativity, and voices.
