LIVE Weekly Series
Fridays, 4:30pm to 5:15pm
In the midst of home-based learning and circuit breaker closures, have you and your child had dedicated time to create and play with new ideas?
Come join Playeum at Home and create with us. The series looks at discovering different ways of experimenting, playing and creating with everyday recyclable materials that we typically find in our own homes! What can we do with the toilet roll cores we have? Or that stack of rubber bands you have been collecting from your takeaways?
Take charge, get your creative juices flowing at home and start on a maker project with our playmakers as virtual company!
Gather your friends (virtually) and come play with us on Facebook LIVE as we explore
the potential of different materials every week.
Playeum At Home is open to all children who would like to join us in getting started on hands-on making at home! The sessions are open to all children aged 18 months to 12 years*.
To join us,
1) Like & follow us on Facebook: fb.com/playeum
2) Click our profile photo at 4:30pm and tune in - our playmakers will be live till 5:15pm
3) Get some inspiration and virtual company with our playmakers online!
The live stream is available on both mobile and desktop versions of Facebook.
*Children aged 5 and below may need help from an adult or elder sibling.
Material of the Week
Friday, 24 July, 4:30pm
Every week, we invite children to look at one new material and find ways we can weave it into our creations at home. Do stay tuned to our weekly announcements on the material of the week and bring it along with you for the session!
If your child tuned in with us on Friday and was inspired to start on a maker project after, we would love to share what your child has made!
