FUN-raising & Partnerships Lead
(Full-Time Position)

Playeum is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven individual to lead our Fundraising and Partnerships efforts. This is a strategic role at the heart of sustaining and growing our work with children and communities in Singapore. You’ll play a key role in securing funding, cultivating partnerships, and developing creative, values-aligned initiatives that fuel our mission.

You'll work closely with the Executive Director, Board, and a passionate team to:

​

Strategic Planning

 

• Develop fundraising strategies aligned with organisational goals with Executive Director and Board

• Set fundraising targets and monitor progress toward those goals

• Research fundraising trends and best practices to keep efforts current and effective

• Identify and seek new funding opportunities (e.g., emerging grant and donation sources, CSR programmes)

Donor Engagement & Relationship Management

 

• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors (individuals, corporates, foundations)

• Manage donor communications, including meetings, emails, reports, and updates

• Attend and support donor related events and initiatives (e.g. networking events, advocacy booth set ups

• Maintain a donor database for tracking of interactions and giving history

Grant Writing & Proposal Development

 

• Write grant applications to foundations and corporations

• Prepare tailored funding proposals for specific donors or campaigns

• Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including reporting and documentation

​

Campaigns & Events

 

• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns (online and offline).

• Organise fundraising events

• Coordinate and support fundraising campaigns or crowdfunding efforts 

Digital Fundraising & Marketing

 

• Create fundraising content for websites, emails, and social media

• Manage online donation platforms and ensure smooth donor experience

Partnerships & Sponsorships (For fundraising)

 

• Secure corporate sponsorships for programmes or events

• Build long-term partnerships with aligned businesses or institutions

• Prepare partnership decks and present proposals

 

Monitoring & Reporting

​

• Track and report fundraising performance against KPIs

• Prepare fundraising reports/ updates for senior management or board

Team & Volunteer Coordination

 

• Coordinate with volunteers helping with fundraising activities

• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., programmes and finance) and the Board to align efforts

​

Partnerships (for Business Development for revenue streams)

 

• Develop strategy with Executive Director on Partnerships

• Business development of revenue streams for adult training 

• Build partnerships with channels (e.g. Institutes of Higher Learning, Training institutes) to promote training courses

• Communications and follow up via email or other channels to promote training

• Business development of any new revenue streams ​
