Artist
(Artful Play Programme)
(Project-Based)

Artful Play is a weekly community play programme developed by Playeum in partnership with SHINE Children and Youth Services (SCYS), designed for children up to 12 years old. The programme responds to gaps in children’s social-emotional development and community engagement through an inquiry-based, child-led approach that empowers participants to co-create and explore their interests.

At its core, Artful Play invites children to explore how play shapes their experiences, relationships, and sense of self. Sessions are structured as a balance of shared group activities and open exploration time, where children focus on self-directed play projects across different mediums (e.g. craft, movement, etc.). Through creative play, collaboration, and reflection, children form their own interpretations of play while contributing to a supportive and inclusive community for growth.

You may read more in Playeum’s playlog here.
