Playeum is energised and serving with greater focus.

We have closed the Children's Centre for Creativity and are pivoting our direction of impact work. More here.

The crisis represented an opportunity to re-look at our strategy, adopt a systems change approach and be bold to make big shifts. Through this, we optimise our expenditure and focus stronger on the important work in building skills in children while working with their adults with our community partners, charities and schools. This enables us to be good stewards of our financial resources from our donors and partners who support our work and believe in the importance of championing children through play, creativity and the arts.

The last year challenged us to be agile, flexible and resilient. We are now better positioned to serve with passion and sustainability; true to Playing the Playeum Way = agile, creative and resourceful problem solvers!

We thank our donors and supporters for carrying on to support Playeum and our work in building the 21-st century transformative skills of our future generation.

Serving with gratitude,

Charlotte Goh

Executive Director, Playeum

What happens when we invite children to lead a Masterclass on Creativity for adults? A wise person once said that if we experience life through the eyes of a child, everything could be magical and extraordinary. It’s easy for adults to forget that as they often get lost in the daily grind of life.

This is what happens when you leave adults in a room full of children, everyday materials, and a safe non-judgemental space to build upon their imagination! As part of World Creativity & Innovation Week, Playeum partnered with creative agency TBWA\ Singapore on a special video production that celebrates creativity & innovation with an exciting twist.

Why play, creativity and the arts?

Play, creativity and the arts are intrinsically linked. It is more than an activity; children use play and the arts to make sense of their world. It also allows for the development of crucial 21st-century skills - creativity, communication, collaboration, resilience and more.

How do we impact?

Support play & creativity through the arts

If you believe in the importance of giving voice to children through play and the arts,

we welcome and appreciate support in different ways - donations, volunteering and corporate social responsibility programmes.
