About the Speakers:
Despite being the youngest APAC President and Chief Creative Officer, and ranked No. 1 in Asia by Campaign Brief, Calvin left his illustrious advertising career behind to find a way to live a new life and reinvent himself. Now, he is dedicated to creating an ecosystem that champions one-of-a-kind ideas in the face of exponential change in today’s world.
He created One Kind House, a sustainable urban farming home in Singapore with soil and hydroponic farming built-in, and is the co-founder of One Kind Block, the world’s first LEGO-like hydroponic system designed to make cities greener and kinder. He advises various organisations such as ofnoah.com, BHuman, and Castlery, and has co-authored a children’s book The Big Red Dot with his teenage son.
Calvin is a full-time father to his son Dylan, daughter Ava and Jack Russell Pai Kia.
He gave his first TEDx talk in Singapore when he was 10. Now at the age of 17, Dylan has already succesfully funded a Kickstarter project (Grow-It-Yourself Stick), co-authored a children’s book with his dad, and scored an internship with internationally-known mobile game Angry Birds. After his O Levels in 2018, he enrolled in an international school in Finland. He is now back in Singapore to work on his second Kickstarter project The One Kind Block.
At the tender age of 13, Ava started her own jewellery collection under her brand Daughters of the Revolution in her cause to empower women and inspire them to “love themselves”. Within three days of its launch on Kickstarter, the collection was successfully funded by 200 percent. The 14-year-old is also a national figure skater and has no trouble waking up at 3.30am to go for her training.

Presented by Dr. Piscitelli who began her career as a teacher of young children, and then spent more than 20 years working as an early childhood lecturer and researcher in the university sector. Her work focuses on children as cultural citizens, and explores cultural policy and early childhood visual arts education. Barbara currently consults in the arts and cultural sector, works directly with children and communities, and collects and curates children’s art.
Steven Chia of Channel News Asia also joins us as a guest speaker, as we talk about children's voices, learning to listen and listening to learn -- why that's important for the development of our children and our society going forward.
Hosted by Jennifer Loh who is the co-founder and Board Director of Playeum, a Singapore-based charity that champions creativity and confidence in children through play and the arts, and the executive producer of a children-inspired global music project, Search for the Sparkle.

This programme includes a live Q&A towards the end of the session.
Presented by Calvin, creator of One Kind House, a sustainable urban farming home in Singapore with soil and hydroponic farming built-in, and is the co-founder of One Kind Block, the world’s first LEGO-like hydroponic system designed to make cities greener and kinder. He will be joined by his children, Dylan and Ava.
At 17, Dylan has already succesfully funded a Kickstarter project (Grow-It-Yourself Stick), co-authored a children’s book with his dad, and scored an internship with internationally-known mobile game Angry Birds. While Ava, at the tender age of 13, started her own jewellery collection under her brand Daughters of the Revolution in her cause to empower women and inspire them to “love themselves”.

This programme includes a live Q&A towards the end of the session.
Presented by Shiao-Yin who works as a cultural change strategist, systems/organisational development consultant, process facilitator, executive coach, communicator and trainer. She is passionate about helping large systems develop a more empowering and empathetic way of working with diverse stakeholders through complex issues and volatile times.
