High Touch Programmes

Playeum runs high-touch STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) programmes for at-risk children. Playeum's specially crafted STEAM workshops incorporate it's very own pedagogy and aims to help at-risk children with low academic achievements increase their confidence levels, resilience, skills, innovation as well as their social and emotional learning.

With these intervention programmes tailored to children from at-risk backgrounds, Playeum looks to break the cycles that hold them back by striving for long term impact and inspiring children to take charge of their own circumstances and be able to meet their fullest potential. Through open-ended play, children become masters of their own worlds, where creating, exploring, conquering fears, negotiating, making decisions and resolving conflicts become second nature.

Open Minds, Open Doors

Playeum, together with Arts of the Earth Learning Hub is inviting young children with disabilities to join us in a unique, creative play programme. The programme invites parents to learn about the values of play and how their child(ren) develop 21st-century skills, executive functions and social-emotional skills and peer relationships through play. Parents can practice these play approaches at home to develop strengths and abilities in their child(ren).

The programme includes parents participating in a knowledge-sharing journey to learn about play and child development. 6 sessions are set aside to support child development and play information.
