Your Role at a Glance
​​​The Lead Playmaker supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of Playeum’s programmes for children, adults and/or families. This role ensures quality implementation, facilitates communication among stakeholders, and supports the impact evaluation of our programmes.

Programme Facilitation
-
​Facilitate Playeum’s programmes for adults and children, including logistical set-up, implementing the play experiences and tear-down in a timely fashion.

Conduct pre-programme briefings as well as post-programme debrief with hosting organisations, part-time playmakers and volunteers.

Supervise part-time playmakers and volunteers in assigned programmes

Communicate staffing needs and concerns to the Programmes Team while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

Ensure facilitation standards for programme activities are met to ensure adherence to the ethics of child safeguarding and fair employment.

Implement quality control measures to maintain high programme delivery, participant experience standards and programme outcomes.

Contribute to the ongoing review and refinement of policies, procedures, and staffing strategies to reflect best practices.

Programme Coordination

​Assist in the planning of Playeum’s programmes for adults and children.

Regularly review and adjust programme content based on participants’ evolving needs and feedback.

Prepare the logistical requirements and procurement of materials needed for assigned programmes.

Oversee communications to reach out to parents, social workers, and stakeholders of assigned programmes.

Coordinate with other team members for seamless integration of assigned programmes into the team calendar.

Facilitate meetings and communication channels for staff and partner organisations to reflect on programme successes and challenges.

​Supporting Impact Evaluation

​Support the implementation of impact assessments, including observations and surveys.

Supervise and consolidate programme documentation completed by facilitators.

Provide feedback to the Programmes Team and stakeholders regarding data collection processes and highlight any concerns or opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements
-
Educational background and work experience should ideally be connected to learning.
-
Volunteer or Work Experience in the fields of informal learning, social work, or socially engaged art practice.
-
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with children, adults, and/or families.
-
2-3 years of experience in programme facilitation and project management.
-
Must be based in Singapore, required to work in person and possibly work on weekends when required; not a remote position.
